About Pitty Rescue, Inc
EIN: 27-2352996
Mission: This rescue was established by Jeff and Diana Coltenback in April 2010 after 10 years of private rescue work. Since 2001, we have been fostering, rehabilitating and re-homing homeless animals, specifically pit bulls and pit bull type dogs. We have been directly or indirectly responsible for re-homing thousands of animals; mostly dogs, but also cats, snakes, lizards, bunnies, gerbils, birds and much more. We also provide low cost dog training and behavior evaluations to other rescues and shelters. And, when the need arises, Pitty Rescue offers safe haven for dogs from other rescues. Pitty Rescue also offers FREE fostering, training and evaluations to 501(c)3 organizations, when space and resources are available.
Over the years, due to resources and space, we were only able to house one dog at a time; two on a temporary basis. One of our many dreams is to have a Pit Bull sanctuary. So, it was finally time to get on track towards making our dream a reality. Initially, Pitty Rescue, Inc will only be able to house 4-6 dogs at a time, depending on size and temperament. But, hey, it's a start. With your help, our dream will come true and together we will save many wonderful Pit Bulls. Please support Pitty Rescue, Inc or any rescue you can.
