Pitty Rescue believes that rescue is not just about taking dogs in and adopting them out. We also believe in the proactive approach to reducing the number of dogs being surrendered to shelters and rescues. If that means offering services to rescues, shelters and personal individuals at no cost, than so be it. The list below includes, bit is not limited to, many of the services Pitty Rescue provides. Note: Free services on provided on a case by case basis and not all situations will qualify. If a low cost service is needed, Pitty Rescue has a network of pet care professionals that can provide low cost care to individuals needing assistance.
1. Free behavior assessments for 501(c)3 rescue organizations
2. Free fostering/boarding for 501(c)3 rescue organizations
3. Free or low cost training and boarding for individuals experiencing hardship
4. Free educational workshops, lectures and seminars
5. Free mentoring for volunteers looking to get involved in animal rescue or dog training (see terms and conditions)
6. Free telephone or email support to organizations and individuals
7. Free animal transport for 501(c)3 rescue organizations.
8. Food and supply donations for 501(c)3 rescue organizations or individuals experiencing hardship
9. Financial support for veterinary care for 501(c)3 rescue organizations or individuals experiencing hardship
10. And, just about anything else we can do to help.
