- Pitty Rescue is still seeking foster homes in NJ and Southeast NC. If interested, please fill out a foster application at: Applications - One of Pitty Rescue's foster locations just got a brand new barn with a socialization area which will improve their quality of life while with us. Some of Our Policies
1 - All potential adopters will be required to undergo a STRICT screening process; NO EXCEPTIONS
2 - Animals being surrendered MUST undergo an evaluation by Pitty Rescue, Inc
3 - Filling out an application doesn't guarantee you'll be adopting an animal from Pitty Rescue, Inc
4 - Pitty Rescue, Inc reserves the right to deny adoption or surrender to anyone for any reason.
5 - All that matters to Pitty Rescue, Inc are the animals we care for, their health and well being!
6 - We do not take in any animal that shows unprovoked aggression towards humans.
7 - We do not take in stray dogs; we are not a shelter
8 - We do not provide animal control services
9 - We are a no kill organization
10 - All those wishing to volunteer do so at their own risk and are required to sign a hold harmless contract.
